Since 2006, Swallow-a-Bicycle has produced work featuring over 100 Calgary artists. It’s time to meet the Swallow-a-Bicycle creative team.

In a sexually-charged fusion of dance and text, Léda Davies becomes a sinister black widow, a femme fatale who explores the boundaries of sex and power through her dangerous relationships with three men. An eccentric historian, Mark Hopkins weaves a tale of Trinity United Church, a Calgary landmark whose walls have contained a war-blinded baritone, a devastating electrical fire and a neurotic churchmouse. Inspired by the true story of a child left in a car in a casino parking lot for eight hours in sub-zero weather, Charles Netto invites you to an intimate shared environment, where the monster under the bed will share its feelings.

Don’t miss this trio of original creations that will transform the basement of the Lantern Community Church into a dazzling hub of storytelling and theatricality.
