Sarah Fulton is passionate about environmental and social issues, currently working on the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) team at Export Development Canada (EDC). Prior to EDC, Sarah mostly worked in the oil and gas sector in roles ranging from operational level environmental and regulatory support to corporate level ESG strategy and reporting. At EDC, Sarah is focused on the climate change strategy and is leading the implementation of the Climate Change Policy.
Sarah holds a B.Sc. H. from Queen’s University and a M.E.S. from Dalhousie University. For her Master’s thesis she conducted a life cycle assessment of GHG emissions from the seafood supply chain. Sarah joined Swallow-a-Bicycle in 2020, seeking to support SaB’s mission to challenge convention and create “productive discomfort.” In addition to her work with Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre, Sarah is an active volunteer with the Alberta Emerald Awards and Fur-ever Homes dog rescue. Sarah has two children and two dogs.
