About Bianca Miranda & Kris Teo

Born and raised in the Philippines, Bianca Miranda is a Filipino-Canadian actor, performer, and theatre-creator based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary, AB) with a BFA in Drama. She is also the Artistic Associate at Handsome Alice Theatre. As an artist, she aims to authentically tell stories, support underrepresented voices, and continuously advocate for intersectional diversity in the arts. Teo Kris Vanessa Xin-En is a Chinese-Canadian creator-performer based in Calgary, Alberta. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the University of Calgary where she studied acting, directing and performance creation. Working to decolonize her being and reclaim pride in her Singaporean-Chinese heritage, Kris is committed to sharing her truth as a woman of colour. She is currently developing 我的名是张欣恩。(Gimme chance leh), her one-woman show that will be produced by Chromatic Theatre in February 2020.
