A conversation about allyship and mentorship within our community and where to look for it if you don’t want anymore white cis straight mentors. We will dive into creating something super cool by working as a collective brain.

This workshop will also cover systems of power and dominance, and how we can stop systems of oppression in the arts community.

Jay Northcott is a multidisciplinary artist, director, playwright, and puppet maker in Calgary. Jay graduated from the BFA Performance program at the University of Lethbridge. Currently they are a co-producer of a Queer-POC art party called HolyFRUIT! Jay always wanted to change the world. Sadly, they didn’t develop any world-saving superhuman abilities, so they make art.
