Part play, part memoir, part workshop and part experimental group therapy, Nobody tells the story of one woman’s journey through life and her longing to be seen, heard and loved by those around her.
You are invited to connect with the artist, your fellow audience members and yourself in this safe space. Nobody is a non-traditional theatre piece mixing story-telling with activities, offering the chance to explore yourself and find your reflection in the hearts of those around you. Together we will push the boundaries of comfort and break down the walls between us.
Content warning: Nobody contains discussion of sexual assault, trauma, suicide, self harm and other distressing subjects. Anxiety attacks are simulated and things may get loud. There is also physical contact between audience members and the performer. All contact is optional and no one will be forced to do anything they are not comfortable with.
Artists:
- Emily Parkhouse – Playwright and Performer
- Char Brydges – Stage Manager and Assistant Director
